How much space do I need for a golf simulator?
There is no single minimum that fits every golfer and every system. As an early planning target, many homeowners look for a room about 12–15 feet wide, 16–20 feet deep and 9–10 feet high. A 10-foot ceiling generally gives more comfortable driver clearance than a standard 8-foot basement ceiling. Some compact systems work in smaller spaces, while some radar-based launch monitors need more depth. The golfer’s height and swing, whether left- and right-handed players will share the bay, and the manufacturer’s installation specifications decide what actually fits. AV Guys can measure the room before equipment is purchased to confirm whether the space is suitable.
