T4 Touchscreens ship with OS 3.2.4 installed, and will generally need to be updated once added to the project. For project running OS 3.3.0 or below, the T4s can be updated normally through Update Manager. However, devices must first be updated to OS 3.3.1 before they can be updated to OS 3.4.0 (KB article for required OS upgrade path). Because Update Manager cannot update devices to an OS version (ex: 3.3.1) that is different from the project OS (3.4.0+), we recommend using the Device Image Updater to flash the new T4 Touchscreen directly to OS 3.4.0+ KB article for the Device Image Updater
